Harassment Policy Universal College Lahore

Since 2019, the Centre for Human Rights team has been working tirelessly to meet a priority agenda: developing safe environments in educational institutes. To commemorate the first day of 16 Days of Activism to End Violence Against Women, the CFHR successfully drafted a Harassment Policy for Universal College Lahore, Pakistan, which is now effective with full force. The full text of the policy is available here.

Guide to Pro-Women Legislation in Pakistan

We launched an educational series to raise awareness on pro-women legislation in Pakistan. This series aimed to serve as a women’s guide to Pakistani laws that have helped promote female empowerment, within both a social and economic context, and helped address significant issues such as sexual violence, harassment at the workplace, and forced marriages.

HeForShe 2021

Centre for Human Rights once again participated in the global #HeforShe campaign. Our youth volunteers worked tirelessly during the #16days to engage with men and women across Pakistan, both in person and online, to spread awareness on gender equality, especially in the context of the HeForShe movement.
